Fluval for multi-tank filtration?
I have 3, 20 [acronym:ed79a46284="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:ed79a46284]. tanks I want to stack vertically and filter with one fluval 404. I am just wondering if a fuval 404 has the PSI to do this and if so will it burn out quicker?
The water will have to be pushed approx. 7 feet high and spill out at 3 points. |

My guess is that a 404 would probably be able to handle those 3 small tanks if you plumbed them properly..
My only concern would be the fact that all three tanks would be circulating the same water supply.. which in and of itself isn't a problem unless you start dealing with any disease/fungus/parasites etc in which case all of your tanks would be infected.
