I dont know what this is... - Aquarium Advice

Hello

I got an african dwarf frog tonight for my sons 10 [acronym:4e563a2b27="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:4e563a2b27]. ( Finally found new home for the shubunkin

) Anyhow, before I put the new fish in I wanted to test the water just to make sure and move things around a bit. WHile i was doing this i noticed that on a green artificial plant - about 4 inches tall and looks grass like- there are about 10 little white things that look very much like mini white cotton balls. The only thing in the tank was the shubunkin and a black mystery snail. Any ideas? I wish I still had my digital camera so I could post a picture.

Maybe snail eggs? Or a fungus? Hard to tell without seeing it.
