quesiton for menagerie
You responded to my question about shell dwellers.
Ny question for you is on my filter intake buy a sponge filter, cut an x in the the filter and then slide my intake tube inside the sponge???? will i still get adequate filtration?? am i on the right track for what you were explaining? please help. Thanks Adam |

Yes. After awhile the sand will settle as bacteria grows. You can remove the sponge if you want. Of course, if you are breeding, then I would leave the sponge on the intake.
You will need to rinse the sponge our periodically, but I promise, it works! |

Look in the lower left hand area and you will see the [acronym:eda4d112af="Activated Carbon"]AC[/acronym:eda4d112af] sponge over the intake. |
