20 gallon long

ok folks, as most of the people who have had to deal with me in the chat room know, i am getting a new 20 gallon long tank. My current 20 gallon high is a 5 year old beat up acrylic tank with next to nothing in it. the lighting is breaking. the hood is a piece of garbage and the filters barely filter anything (they are either clogged or broken). So tonight i took a leap of faith and bought a new 20 gallon long tank.

Here is what i expect to pay for everything:
perfecto 20 gallon long : $40
emperor 280 filter: $40
30 inch T5HO USA nova extreme 2x24 watt - 59.99
Substrate - PFS - 5$
Already have a heater and aeration unit
Hood - perfecto glass canopy - 14.98

If there is anything that you run across that is cheaper, please feel free to chime in. I will keep this thread updated when the stuff comes in.

Where are you getting your tank from? I got my 20 long at petsmart for I believe 22.50 or something like that.

Have you checked your local craigslist? That is the place to go if you want to get things cheaper.

What is your setup? FW, planted, FOWLR, Reef? That's quite a bit of light for a 20g tank, make sure you need that much.
