Lil RCS photo bomb on the sponge filter. God im realising that i have hundreds of RCS that seem to hitchhike to a tank via plant and spread like wildfire.

Sini, guppues rock, mutt or not. Lol, they started my addiction. I used to have 55- 10gals for breeding 5 strains of ifga guppies. Now i just keep a few in planted nursery tanks because i love the moscows.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love the guppies! I just imagine nobody wants our mutts, usually people are trying to get rid of them, not take them. We're perfectly happy with them!

Guppies are what got me back into fishkeeping. Before college I tore down all of my tanks at home in CT except the 150 gallon that my parents are running (or rather, not running) into the ground. While I was at school the 10 gallon dorm limit stopped me from setting up a tank, but my fiance's family had a 10 gallon tank with a goldfish nobody cared about. When it died I bought a heater and some guppies and corydoras, and fell in love with the hobby again (and my fiance fell in love with it too!)

Here's another bit of research you might enjoy reading, another reference I'm using for my own thesis. It's about how discus fry can get contaminants through their parent's mucus.

Mine are crossed too! Told my fiance about the angelfish and showed her pictures of the parents, she's ecstatic!

Do they usually lay eggs in evening?
My rams are not 100% but often enough in evening I have noticed(waiting all day).
It would seem to make sense as many live bearers give birth in evening and many species eggs hatch at night.
All of this for a better shot at survival.
