Absolutely, anytime a store gets brine shrimp, blackworms or whatever other live foods they may sell, they either feed them low quality food or not at all. So I like to feed my worms a paste of peas, spirulina and astaxanthin and my baby or adult brine the algae powders alone to pack them with vitamins before feeding them to the fish. Not to mention that spirulina brightens the blues and greens, astaxanthin brightens the reds and oranges in the fish.

Cool! I'm not sure I could get live food, it would probably get the panduros in a spawning mood huh?

White worms are easy to culture, a little fatty so I give those to the fish every few days. They are regularly available on aquabid.

I don't know how the old ball and chain would feel about live food, she's finally getting use to the frozen goodies in her freezer, she caught a wiff of the brine shrimp last night and almost lost it.

I don't see eggs anymore, but she is still protecting the same area so that is a good sign.
