So I'm assuming this is brown algae... and I've read somewhere that I should remove the plant and wash it in a 10% bleach solution?

Should I do that or let it run it's course? And wouldn't letting it "run it's course" mean an algae infestation in my entire tank?

Huhuhuhuhu

Btw, I've some otofish and a few red cherry shrimp. I've never noticed them feasting on the algae tho.

I've washed the anubias in tap water and rubbed off the remaining algae. There's still a brownish stain which I hope wouldn't grow back into more algae.

I hope it works...

I'm clueless as to different types of algae and whatnot, but that is beautiful tank! Hope you get it worked out.

Oh thank you!!! It's my first tank and I'm really enjoying it. If I'm still this hyped about my new hobby after a year.. I'm definitely getting a 100gl one by then!
