| Another new kid - Polypterus palmas buettikoferi
This is my new bichir just in from an on-line dealer (Rehoboth Aquatics). He's been in the tank for a couple of hours and seems to be impressed with his new surroundings. At least he hasn't tried to jump out yet!!!

|  Let's see....what does this bring me to now? I've got Polypterus senegalus, Polypterus delhezi, Polypterus palmas polli, Polypterus palmas buettekoferi, Polypterus retropinnis, Polypterus ornatipinnis, Polypterus weeksii, Polypterus sp. 'Congo', and Erpetoichthys calabaricus. Still don't have any of the protruding lower jaw bichirs but I'm definitely going to wait until the big tank is set up before trying to find any of them. I guess my next quest is going to have to be for Polypterus palmas palmas and Polypterus teugelsi
