Beautiful Dead Coral

So the other night I was having dinner with my parents and some of their friends. One of the people there is a rock collector who polishes rocks etc. Well about ten years ago he stumbled upon this piece of coral at a garage sale for fifty cents. I showed him my tank and he offered me this coral for free. It has been boiled and stuck in my tank. Here's a pic
