I just got a nerite snail to solve the algae problem that infected my tank as soon as my otto died.

IMO one snail likely won't make a noticeable difference anytime soon but congrats on the new addition.

M sister's immediate reaction to seeing it's face was "why is there a giant grey moving blob in your tank?!" :sly::)

WC will help rid the algae faster , one snail isn't even going to put a dent into it.

What does that stand for?

Haha. I should have guessed that, but I don't hang out with very many fish people.:)

The more you're on here the more "lingo and shorthand" you learn. :)

But seriously, water changes and some scrubbing will the the easiest way to cut back the algae.
