chipped tank

got a tank set 2-75 g with metal stand. awesome tanks. they are painted black on the back. got home and noticed there was a chip in the back more to the top and just off the edge about a quarter in diameter and it's slanted outward so I don't see it cracking more inward. the glass is pretty thick it's a marineleand tank. just wondering if I should seal it or something. will I have any problems in the future. I'm going to set up a salt reef in there so I'm not sure if I should take the chance even

If it is just a chip and not on the tank edge where joined it should be ok. If cracked into the glass I'd be more worried.
