As anybody seen the "algea" shrimp scape? Where the guy just grew a bunch of hair algea and it made a carpet.

I have seen things like that. Not very appealing to me, but it's a matter of opinion. I prefer the look of plants. Mainly I have some low light stuff, some Crypts (wendtii florida sunset and lutea), an anubias nana, hydrocotyle sibthorpoides, and guppy grass. Also I have a bit of moss and duckweed.

Are you planning on breeding out any SSS you get? Do you use RO or tap?

I do hope to separate any SSS I get. I use remineralized RO water.
