Dumb fire eel

I bought this really awesome fire eel yesterday but the stupid thing went into the filter and got stuck. I can't get him out so I don't know what to do.

Are you sure its stuck? They can get themselves out of a lot. Id turn the filter off for one and see what happens

That's weird. There's a loach that gets stuck in the sponge filter tube at my Lfs.

Yeah he died. My friend had to pull him out cause i couldn't do it. Not good. I've gotta make the filters eel proof before Incan get another one.

My yellow tail spiny eel trapped himself under my underground filter. I had to dig an exit for him.
