Few new corals

Got these frags a few weeks ago when I got rid of my sixline wrasse and my flameback angel

Brown Montipora digitata, probably the hadiest of sps corals.

Purple Montipora digitata. Because of the placement o this coral I can't get a shot showing most of the coral, but after a few weeks, it's already put on about 1/4-1/2 inch of new growth.

One of my favorites....Seriotopora hystrix (Pink Birdsnest) this one is also showing signs of very fast growth, although it hasn't shown the potential the M. digitata has.

Another unidentified acropora. I think it's a green slimer, but not sure. It is already growint new branches.

Kevin,

Great new frags! Love that purple Monti - sweet color!!! At a reef club meeting we went to last Sat., I got a purple tipped Monti dig., and a Seriatopora hystrix - looks a lot like yours! Can't wait until it starts to grow in. Also picked up/traded um, about 10 other new frags.
GREAT pictures, by the way!

SPS, IMO, are the coolest of the corals, and then comes the Anchor and frogspawn.

Kevin - they're on my site if you want to take a peek; hate to take up bandwidth here. Besides, didn't want to hijack your thread!

They're mixed in with the other sps - but all the ones that say from "X" - a member of the Boston Reefers, and with a first pic date of 3/29, are the ones I got there. If you want to take a look ----> Our sps page

You've got some very nice frags there!!! I'm looking in my tank now conspiring on where to make some space for when they get big enough to frag. I particularly liked

Thanks, Kevin!

That second one you listed.....I actually have two of them. The others need to grow just a bit. Maybe in a couple months, when the weather is a lot warmer (at least here, LOL) - we can arrange a trade.

new frags

I was looking at some of the frags that you posted on April 6. I was just wondering what setup you are using to get such good growth?

Thanks,
Darin
