Finally have a Tank!!!!!!!!

After namy months of waiting, my living room is now the proud owner of a beautiful (hopefully thriving) aquarium!!!!

Things haven't exactly worked out as I planned (wasn't quite ready to take the plunge), but there was a used system for offer in the local classifieds and I just could resist.

Will try to upload a couple of pics (many excuses beforehand for the poor quality snaps as I have yet to master the art of aquarium photography).

Here's a quick breakdown of what I picked up: (only 700 bucks!)

180 gallon Clarity Plus acrylic tank, stand, Coralife lights (700watt), 250lbs of live rock, protein skimmer, and wet/dry filter. There quite a bit of livestock, both fish, corals, and inverts. Now the struggle begins to make sure everyone stays happy and healthy.

Keeping my fingers crossed for good health!

That's going to look beautifull once the coraline comes to life and you have some polyps/anemones/corals!

Thanks for the kind words!

I still have a lot to do (plumb in the chiller, set up a sump/fuge, aquascape, and then place the corals that were already in the tank).

I'm not sure how long to wait before attempting to move anyone as it was a rather hectic and stressful move for the fish and coral).

I'll try and get some better pics of my new roomates and start working on identification.

Cheers

nick
