first coral - Aquarium Advice

Bought my first coral yesterday! Im new to coral so tell me what you think of this colony of Zoa's. I paid 39.99 at the LFS. is that fair? It is about 3-4"x2" I think next week Im getting some starburst polyps and a taro tree. I'll post some pics.
