found some narly driftwood!

Found these soaking in a limestone creek that runs through my neighborhood. Appears to be a hardwood but not sure what kind. Think I'll boil them up for the new tank!

Nice driftwood. It is good to come here and see i am not the only one that gets excited over a twisted bit of wood. My family don't understand the goofy grins i get when i find a rock or bit of driftwood for my tanks.
 
Very cool! Most people have to pay good money for stuff like that...
I'm new to this stuff--how do you plan to boil it?
