blanch a pea, peel it and give her some of that, then fast her for about 3 days.

for the betta? i got a 5 gallon tank with a whisper filter, a heater, and some gravel and fake plants. her QT tank is about 5 gallons, same setup, except a more powerful filter and heater.

Sounds good. I bought a 5gallon kit from Walmart online for like $20 and it came with a whisper filter and it looks absolutely terrible. Hope yours works out well, its probably not as pathetic as the one I got. I bought the small azoo on foster and smith to replace it.

I was thinking possibly a fluval spec to house a betta.

That's so awesome! It's so cool when you can hookup with the LFS at the stores so they can give you discounts and stuff!

I agree with LyndaB on the bloat curing. How long are you going to be QTing her for?

About a month. im a bit worried, cuz she wont poop, and what is dangling is milky and thick. is it a parasite, or is it possible she is constipated? can that happen to fish?
