Free Betta!

I was going to Borders for the closing sale, so i noticed a petco down a few blocks. i had some spare toime, so i went on down. I looked, as was my habit, for garlic guard and vitachem. i found A small bottle of garlic guard, which i took to the register to pay for. on the way i happened to see my favorite petco employee! this was out of my town, so we were both surprised. he explained he was filling in for a sick employee in THIS towm! This guy really knows his stuff. he has pretty cool healthy tanks, not to mention great expertise. i chatted with him for awhile, and told him of my plans to get a betta tank. he asked if i had the tank yet, and i did. he beckoned me over, and told me to pick any betta i wanted! i settled on a nice crowntail female, whom i named Tigris. I took out my money to pay for it, but he said hed pay for it. I thanked him profusely, and eventually i had to go. id post pics, but my computer wont let me upload... She's being QT right now, but she seems healthy!

Nice guy. Can't wait to see some pictures. Bettas are so elegant in my opinion. What color?

She's rosy red, with some dark red stripes running from head to tail. she has purplish tinge to her scales.

Sounds just like my female! The scales really shimmer from a distance, she even has a blue spot on the bottom of here eyes that will catch the light.
