Growing some zooplankton.
I went out Sunday 11-23 to [acronym:abadfba6f5="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:abadfba6f5] and picked up a couple of used 10gal w/lights and set them up side by side, on the left I am growing (or attempting to grow) zooplankton and on the right is my artemia hatchin' and crab banishment tank.
The tank on right is where the expecially crabby crabs go that are harassing my starfish, they can be crabby in there, eat stuff and not bother my starfish anymore. Anyway hopefully the water will be greener on the left tank every day. For a starter culture I used Nanochloropsus, Isocrysis and Tetraselmis. Cmon green water baby YEAH! |
