I have two little otocinclus but I can't figure out their species. I'm torn between Otocinclus vittatus and Otocinclus macrocpilus

The top one is Bots and the bottom on is Auto. The difference is that Auto has a stripe in his/her tail fin and Bots doesn't.

Anyone have any thoughts on what species this is? I could use some advice on this.

I guess they do, don't they. Ugh, why do they all look so alike!?

Some corydora species will mimic each other's pattern.

These aren't corries though. I'm actually thinking they're otocinclus vittatus. Those look like he kind you mentioned except for the eyes. The name you gave have sorta like a wedge taken out of the pupil. Mine are totally round.

Ok. I was just comparing how some fish from the same region will mimic each other.

Oh, ok. I'm not sure if ottos do that or not...do they even need to with how alike thy look? Either way, they're cute.
