Got a pair of 4" opaline gouramis today for free from a friend that is moving (I was 10 minutes late in scooping a sextet of sparkling gouramis off him, too), and I am buying four 2½ gallon tanks off him for $20...so I should not lack for small show tanks for a while.

What is really dangerous is that a bunch of friends and I are meeting on Saturday to socialise and visit a LFS that has 2for1 fish all day this Saturday...

the first step is admiting u have a problem....the second step is to understand you could have alot worse addictions....and u cant pass up 2for1 fish u just cant...lol :D

Repeat after me...."Hi! I'm Toirtis...and I'm an addict."

Don't laugh..its probably more true than you realise (who else do you know that has tanks in their pantry?)...Besides, I already am talking about it on a site who's intials are "AA".

I was at river front today.. It was really busy. It almost had a carnival atmosphere. I think people were checking out fish to buy on the weekend.. haha..

I got to see some Julidochromis regani up close... When I had tanks when I was a teenager I definately had some of these guys.. Someday down the road I will have them again.. :)

Don't feel bad Toirtis.....I've been back in the hobby for less than a year and already have 5 aquariums set up with a 120gallon in the works as soon as possible. I'm as badly addicted as I was 20 years ago!!!

The sale is going to continue all week, this time. I managed to get away quite inexpensively...$1.50 for a large dojo loach, and $3.00 for a fairly large figure-eight puffer. I had intended on blowing $25 on more chocolate gouramis (at $2 each) and $30 on some WC scalare angels (at $5 each), but the shop ran out a week ago, and hasn't been able to get more in. On the other hand, there are those large kuhli loaches now for $2 each, albino P. senegalus for $35 each, some nice kribs for $2.50 each, and some transparent knife-fish for $5.50 each.

Yes well, do you get weird looks from people when you tell them about AA? I do.
