It's official, I'm Hagen's servant now.

Sooo After purchasing a Hagen fixture, and Hagen filter, I've decided to try out Hagen's new substrate: Fluval Substrat Pro.

It's brand new from them and few people have tried it. So I figure well I like trying new things and it looks cool.


Soooo I picked up a 8kg bag for 53 bucks (ouch, ASI costs less! and I do have adg here in houston so shipping wouldn't be a problem)

I'm kind of with you though... I have two fluval canisters and love them. I wont ever buy another canister thats not made by hagen, unless they pull a repeat of marineland and get bought out by a chinese company that makes their quality go down dramatically (aka recall on heaters).

Ahh...Well it's not really that I only buy fluval. It's just that my lfs doesn't stock anything else! And we have tons of them in houston.

Okay you've got me...uhh my heater is a topfin heater lol...and my pond filter was made by beckett.
