Jordanella Floridae

Picked up a pair of flag fish today. Couldn't resist at a mere $5.99 a pair.

She was the last female in a tank full of males, the poor girl. Shes' already started to pic at what little algae I have while he's hiding behind the heater. They are full grown, the male is over two inches long. I almost bought some a few months back but they were sickly looking. These were large and robust and looked very healthy. I hope he settles in soon like she did.

Congratulations on getting the pair of American-flag Fish. I think they are great and I'm not just saying that because they eat algae. They have a lot of personality and the males are very colorful. I have four and hope to have them spawn soon. The oldest male is willing but so far none of the females are taking the hint. The male keeps trying to herd a female on to the moss ball to spawn but nothing has happened yet.
