Since I was on last, I have added a few more Microctenopoma ansorgii, two baby Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri, some Corydoras loxozonus, Corydoras loretoensis, and a new juvenile Protopterus dolloi (see pic).

"Saltie" here, what do they do?
Are those fins?
Does he walk or swim....?

Post pics of the Microctenopoma!! Where did you get them? I've been trying to get a hold of them for a while.

The dolloi is neat too. I haven't seen that species before.

I will try to get some...they are very cryptic, and it is a very heavily planted tank.

My friend's aquarium shop...a couple of the stores in town brought them in during October/November.

OK...Who would have guessed? Turns out they are quite the hams...everyone (about 12 of them) came out of hiding to see what I was doing (pardon the dirty glass):

Well, almost unbelieveably, in the 10 short days he has been here, my new P. dolloi, on a steady diet of mysis and feeder guppies, has added a full 4.8cm (just under 2") to his length, bringing him to a hefty 21cm/8¼" long....at this rate, he will exceed 14" by the end of January.

The P. e. endlicheri bichirs have also near doubled in size, now pushing 6" each after only 6 weeks.

A great testament to what a high-end diet and 95% water-changes every 3 days will do for young fish.

January 15: 24cm/9½" long, 2.75cm/1¼" diameter

From his current size, I am assuming that he will put on a total of 7cm-9cm from Jan 15th to Feb 15th, too. First time I have had an African under 14"/34cm long, and I am surprised at this early growth-rate.
