Question: I just took a leaf from your book and bought some nice wood. How long should it be soaked for? Are there any soaking / cleaning techniques in particular that are more effective?

what type of wood did you get? depending on the type of wood will determine what you should do. i have some of the larger ones soaking in my bin.
