Aquarium Advice Addict
I increased my school of Ember Tetras from 7 to 13 a couple of days ago and it's remarkable what a difference it's made in their behavior. Before they were always hiding in the decor, only darting out momentarily for food. With the addition of some new friends, the now seem to have the courage to stay out in the open.
My ultimate plan for these fish is to move them into a larger (45 gallon) tank and increase the school to 40-50. This positive change in behavior has been encouraging so far.
