Here is my new betta! His name is Eli since he is red and blue. His "brother's" name is Peyton. (Peyton is blue - I'll post pics of him later.)

Eli is a friendly betta and likes to come up to me. He poses for pictures all the time!

Gorgeous crowntail! I don't normally find them attractive, but Eli's an exception. Where did you get him? Great photography too!

Gorgeous! Like mosaic, I don't usually like crowntails 'cause my brain registers the fins as "chewed", but that fish is just lovely. Very nice. Now where's them Peyton pictures?!?! And how's come my DMV branch doesn't have any betta stuff at all?

Thanks, everyone! I wonder what kind of betta Eli is. I have had a crowntail before and he had longer, fuller fins, but with the "stringy" fin tips. Eli looks to be a half-moon/crowntail, if such a combination is possible. I know nothing about betta breeding and genetics.

I have to give Eli the credit for making me look like a good photographer! He will hold that stretched out pose for 4-5 seconds sometimes, making it easy for me to get a good picture.

Pics of Peyton are coming soon...I'm trying to get a better one. He is so darn fast! He hardly ever sits still. Most of my pics are a blue blur!

What wonderful luck I have to be blessed with the initials DMV!!! If only it got me some special treatment!
