My new Live Rock

I got my shipment of LR today

Check out the links for pics. This was 20 lbs of Coral rock and 10 lbs of keys base rock. I can't really tell a differnce in the gulf rock vs the keys rock though

I am happy with the abundance of coral colonies but I wish there were more sponges ...

Zack at liverocks.com is definately a great guy and easy to work with!

Based on the coral rock pics that I saw, I am a bit disappointed but I might have limited myself by telling them I did not want any clams

I did get 2 sponges(I believe) so hopefully, they will make it ...

This is different FL rock and the round sponge has been in the tank about a month. Does it look healthy?

approximately how much water will a lb or if it is easier one of your boxes of rocks displace?

Dusty it really depends on its density. If you have a dense 10lb rock it will displace less water than a rather porus rock of the same weight.

You meant the dense rock will displace more than the porous rock.
