New 50 gallon tank help?

What are people's opinion on tanks this big? Is it best to fill with fewer larger fish or lots of smaller ones? I am leaning towards more smaller fish because I just prefer to have ally of different types of fish in my tank but just looking for opinions really???

I like skirt tail tetras and Cory cats

In the uk we call them black widow tetra. And I have some of those in another tank and they are awum. Cory's where always going to be in as I love them and they are a defo.
