I picked up a few new African river fish for my 'collection' recently. A gorgeous pair of Pelvicachromis sp.aff. pulcher (sacrimontis), a nice (small) African Leaf Fish - Polycentropsis abbreviata, and a gorgeous Synodontis flavitaeniatus - also called the Orange Striped Squeaker Catfish.

Pictures to come when they're available.

Here's the first picture of the male Pelvicachromis sacrimontis (also known as Pelvicachromis sp.aff. pulcher). They're very similar in appearance to their much better-known cousin the 'kribensis' (Pelvicachromis pulcher) but in this species the red coloration extends all the way through the lower jaw on the males.
