New black mystery snail and half moon betta.

I purchased Sally the black mystery snail and she joined my double half moon betta Pablo and she has been pretty inactive. Pablo hasn't really bothered her, he just lays on her like a rock and doesn't really bother her. There will be the occasional movement across the tank when I come home from work vs before I left that morning. I heard snails could be very active, if so what could be the issue?

Please note. I'm a very new fish parent. I didn't know what to feed her so I just dropped a couple extra betta pellets. Is that okay? HELP! Thank you!

she will stay like this until the next morning. And Pablo just hangs out on the plant with her.

Snails eat, cucumber, zucchini, algae wafers and things like that. Your snail may be just adjusting. How long has it been in your tank? Are you using salt? Are you using Prime or another water conditioner?

She's been in there about a week and I don't use salt just a water conditioner

Ok. Try feeding her some veggies or algae wafers. She is probably hungry.

raw or microwave them in a little water for about 30 second then let cool. People do both.
