New Brain Coral

Typical story....went to the lfs looking for one thing.....and came dragging home something else. I'm still going to look for the plate/disk coral (they just didn't have any good healthy looking ones-but I'm on a mission, so I'll have one soon I'm sure).

I got him yesterday and this is a picture of him a few hours later.

Definitley very nice. My trachy brain loves to blow up big and float a little on the sand, so keep it away from other corals.

Congrats on the nice pic up!

is this what you mean by blowing up? Eee Ghads! I'm worried that it might be sick??

Yep, that's exactly it. Hehe.

Completely normal. It's inflating to expose itself to more light. When mine inflates it's really easy to move (not by hand obviously) but it slowly moves across the sand if not anchored well.

No worries.
