New clams/coral

Hi all...I just picked up a nice deresa and crocea clam as well as a nice sized green-tipped acro sp. colony (for a smoking deal!) Thought I would share some pics...

Nice pick ups. I never see SPS colonies around here...always 2"-3" frags.

Thanks. This colony is about the size of a tennis ball. I have a great LFS near by that always has a nice selection of SPS colonies. I am all about fragging corals and conservations, but sometimes it is nice to get a colony that is a bit grown-out. Plus...I got it for half off ($40). Not too bad.

That's an amazing deal for that colony. The clams are pretty nice too! Congrats.

Great looking coral and clams!

The LFS I go to has colonies like that but they are not cheap. I've picked up a few from him but I would rather just get a frag and grow it myself. My LFS is having a sale this weekend on their colonies, $69.95 and they are pretty good sized. I may have to bring one home.
