I was intrigued by the Frag Pack offered by Pacific East Aquaculture which includes 6 acros and 6 other hard corals for $124.99. That's just over $10 per frag. I'm also in UPS Zone 1 so shipping is only 15.99, though I did have to pick it up at the UPS customer center. They also add a $10.00 box charge. Still, gotta say I'm impressed!

The box actually had a carrying handle. Otherwise it was packed as I would expect from any quality retailer. The inside was double bagged, with a styrofoam container inside the first plastic bag.

The coral frags were all double bagged, some triple bagged. Each outer bag had the type of coral contained and a number. The numbers range from 1 - 4 and represent how much light the coral should get. A very nice touch.
No more checking books, just look at the included chart for which coral goes where in the tank: to the bottom (4); bottom-center (3 - 4) ; center (3) ; center-top (2), or top (1).

All the frags are normal size of 1½" - 2" and healthy. About half were mounted on plugs. The others were loose in the bag. I normally remove corals from the plugs and attach directly to the rock anyway.

I did my normal 3 part process of a dip in Revive, followed by a bath in CoralRX, followed by a batch in tank water (outside of the tank). Then a careful inspection of each coral and plug which uncovered one small bubble of bubble algae.

Enough talk, time for the pictures.
I'll add better pics of the corals tomorrow.

Thanks Larry. Of course I got up to find that something caused a small flood and all power to the tank was off. I have the return and heaters back on, but not the PS or PH's yet.
Another fun day  :(

Wow, you got all sorts of stuff....fun. Keep us posted on how they do.
I hope you caught the power outtage in time, it's always something, isn't it

Had another power outage overnight with another flood causing it.
FOUND the culprit. A very large turbo crawled into the overflow and covered one of the drains. Only half the water coming into the sump with the pump still returning the normal amount. Tank overflowed and shorted a cord, so the GFCI cut power.
I had some eggcrate over it that kept falling off and I didn't like the way it was on. I made a pattern of the two corner overflows and will make some acrylic covers for them this week.

They look like pretty nice frags. Sounds like a good deal and company. Sorry about the tank problem.

Thats too bad, that is the reason I decided on 2-overflows which either of them could hanlde my return pump independently if the other one is clogged. How many GPH does your return pump put out where your 2nd overflow couldn't handle the retrun pump?
I'm always concerned about the salt and electrical. Make sure to clean it good.

RODI is a great cleaner/solvent.
My pump has a bit more return than a single overflow can handle. Also, my top off water goes to that drain, so when it clogs and and top off starts that adds to the tank spilling over.
I'll have it fixed tomorrow time permitting.

Just another reason I hate turbos, haha.

Corals look great! I'm always tempted by the various frag packs that are always being offered. I will be interesting to see how nice this one turns out. Dr. Macs stuff is always really nice.
