Went to an LFS I haven't been to before. Was very nice! They had SW, FW, and a couple HUGE tanks dedicated to plants. Also some planted nano setups! They also had a really big pond section. Prices were great, fish and plants very healthy, and great, friendly employees :) Want to go back soon! I didn't get much, only 3 female platys (I love platys ) and two African Dwarf Frogs. Never had them before and they are pretty cute :) I am hoping to go back there soon and get some more fish, plants, and snails. Will attach pictures in next post.

If anyone is interested, it's Bob's Pet and Pond in Lewiston, ID.

Wow, lucky!

My not so local fish store is on the other side of the Mountain( it's because the Rockies lie right in the middle of my city) and to go there it takes like 45 minutes, and gas isn't that cheap
Sounds pretty cool!

Pictures! I didn't take pics of all the tanks, that would be weird ;)

Goldfishloachboy, this LFS, is a little over 1 hour away. We have one about 45 mins away, but I like this one better. There's a few more LFS in another town that is about 1 hour away, I have yet to check them out.

Man that is so nice!

That's a lot of LFS there, it's crazy to believe that where I live, there are almost 1 million people living here, and only one mom and pops store! I'm jealous!

What state are you in? It surprises me also, it's not a huge area over here (eastern WA). But hey, I'll take it. Next time we go I will take more pics and maybe a video.

Also, the tank with Pirhanas actually had more in there, about 8 or so. Something scared them right before I took a picture so I only got two that were out and about.

That tank is sick!

I live in El Paso, TX safest large city in the US, but probably suckiest when it comes to fish stores

Surprising there aren't a lot of LFS around there. The Piranhas were very very cool.

The fish and frogs are all settling in well :) I got the frogs to eat this morning. My male platy is happy to have some females in the tank. :p

That store looks pretty awesome! Now to find an excuse to travel up that way and check it out...

How's their cichlid stock?

Looked pretty good. SA's were nice and healthy. (Jack Dempsey, Discus, Rams) Africans were very vibrantly colored as well. I didn't pay too much attention since I was getting other fish, but from what I actually looked at everything looked good and had a pretty nice selection.
