How long does it take for frags like that to really grow into a decent size coral??

Depending on the coral. The teal acro that I offer grows very fast. I started out with a 1.5" piece a year ago and now it dominates the right side of my tank at over 12" across. Some grow slower like the pocillipora and the orange cap. It depends on the coral and your water parameters also your lighting.

Thanks ziggy. Do you sell frags?? I am still in the process of setting up my 125 but when I get it up and running I would definitely be interested in some frags to keep from having to spend so much money trying to get a little varitey in the tank!!

Does Ziggy sell frags????? I count 20 frags from Ziggy953 in my tank now. The original Pinks Birdsnest if sprouting in all directions. The Purple Monti didn't seem to be too well at first but is now growing nicely. The ORA Blue Torts are just beautiful, as are, well they all are.

I bought some frags a couple of years ago from liveaquaria (Dr.s Foster and Smith). Some did well, some had to be replaced under their 30 day guarantee, and then I lost all but one when I was in India for a month and a friend was watching my tank. It wasn't her fault, the outside temps got up and the house was sealed. Together with the lights, the tank heated up to 90 degrees and they all bleached.

The frags I got from Ziggy are actually as good or better than what I got from liveaquaria. They are the same size or larger, come well packaged and are less expensive. I can hardly wait for these to grow into fraggable colonies.
