It's been a few days since I introduced Julio, a Gold Rabbit Snail to Romeo, a red Crown Tail Betta. When it came time to gently release Julio into the tank, I distracted Romeo for about 15 minutes with some finger cuddles, (another video to come) and eventually his mirror for only a few minutes. I dropped a small piece of algae tablet for Julio in case Romeo bullied him while trying to eat later. After one bonk on Julio's head and some overall hovering, an hour later, Julio was back out of his shell, chowing down on his meal while Romeo occasionally stalked him with a sideways glance.

Carefully introduced and at a young age, I would say a Betta will tolerate a Rabbit Snail. I love them!

I found the betta would flare but was pretty much ignored. He always stopped flaring just short so not sure if somewhat half-hearted.
