New Kole Tang. Sweet!

Picked this little guy up on Friday been eying on getting one for awhile. Were are the Tang police. I know it's a 55 gallons, but i've read in alot of different forums about other have great success with a kole tang in a 55 gallon. Just thought I would give one a try.

Yeah he made friends already with my clowns they already swim together for some odd reason. I take it they like him.... Oh and by the way he is only about 3 inches big

I have a Kole tang in a 65 with no problems whatsoever.

I personally IMO think that a yellow eyed kole tang will be OK in a 55 gallon tank.

Yeah I kind of Surprised my Wife with it when she got home from work she wasn't expecting a new fish in the Tank.... She was in shock when she saw it.... But she loves it... I like that he has a little bit of blue under them bottom lip...

Hey Melosu... How about a 45Gal (3feet long tank) for a Kole Tang? I was at my LFS store this weekend and they had a little Kole. Of course, the salesman said it would be VERY happy in my tank.. But, I kept hearing all the voices behind my computer screen (you Guys) telling me it was a mistake! So, I left with nothing.

Out of all the fish in the hobby, that one is my Favorite.. But if I shouldn't, I wont..

I think you made the right decision. That is a little small for a tang, even a Kole Tang. IMO you need at least a 4' 55-gallon for the Kole, but probably no other tang
