New mantis shrimp

I got this guy a couple weeks ago but only got around to taking pics now. He's about 5" and in a tank on my desk. He is a riot to watch, constantly sneeking around rock spying on me. It's a bit difficult to get a nice picture due to the fact he's always running around digging up sand and looking for food.

Because they will eat/destory pretty much everything they can get their claws on for the most part. IMO they are best kept in a tank by themselves for with closely chosen tankmates.
