My new yellow-head morays...not really happy in the bucket but the only way to get a decent pic was during acclimation as it turns out.

both are over a foot in length, one is a good bit larger than the other..but they are nice and fat.

very nice lisa!!

I would hate to run into those while swimming though ;)

Wow those are great! Don't think I could ever do the eel thing - they kinda give me the heebie jeebies.

Thanks! Right now, they are in the 55. The eel tank will be ready in about a month or so. Then these two, the big snowflake and most likely a big tesselata will round out the tank.

Cool...I have mine in a 29 for now. They are both small though. Snowflake is about 8" and the hitch hiker is maybe 6". I have been eyeing the 110g tank that I was going to use for an African Cichlid tank and thinking how cool it would be to have eels in there. Not sure how well it would be since it's a 4' tank and doesn't really have a lot of surface area. What do you think?

The eel tank I put up will only be 4 ft as well....I dont know about anyone elses, but my eels dont do alot of heavy swimming...except if they are really hungry.
