After a long haul, my new 10 gallon is cycled, planted and now has some occupants, 4 otos who are getting fat on all the algae in my tank! Surprise, surprise, one of the LFS actually had some good stock!

thanks everyone :) they are really fun to watch, zooming around munching on the green dust algae. hope when I add my betta to the tank he'll tolerate them well.

I use wire, stick it through the zucchini and put fishing weights on both ends so it sinks. I also have tied a meter of fishing wire to one end so (theoretically) I don't have to put my hands in the tank to remove it.... not that it ever works out that way.
