New RO unit!

I found this brand new RO unit at a second hand store for $20. It is brand new sealed in box. I have a question though. It is a 5 stage filter, will it remove chlorine and chloramines also? http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o154/throwedtoad/S7304265.jpg

I only count 4 stages but yes it should remove pretty much everything from the water.

The fifth is a small inline carbon filter that fits on the line to the faucet, it's actually under the unit in the pic.

Nice score! You must have a carbon block filter to remove chlorine and chloramines. That's usually the 2nd and 3rd filters in the bottom row. The 1st is for a sediment filter. Chlorine will destroy a RO membrane.
