new Royal pleco

I always heard these guys are shy but not this one. There are plenty of hidings spots yet he's out and about. Not camera shy either.
I'm not kidding about places to hide. I have 6 medium uaru, a rhino pleco, a rapheal catfish, L201, banjo cat, and numerous corys. When folks check out my fish room all they see are the corys and ask why they need such a big tank.

That is an adorable and beautiful fish! How much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking?

Planet Catfish states they get 13.4". They get wider than most plecos too. I heard of one that got two feet but that's rare.
I paid $30 at a LFS.

Beautiful fish and great photo, I have one of those panaque nigrolineatus as well he it took him awhile to start eating whenever my lfs gets Royals in they are always in such bad shape. Mine loves all vegetables I put in there now but it took awhile getting him to come around and eat he was so shy for awhile, but is grown a bit since I got him around late december.

I've seen bigger ones they look like footballs with tails.
