New secondary filter
I was going back and forth between a internal power filter or a canister to go with the Eclipse and its bio-wheel. Went to the [acronym:7e9b699d78="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:7e9b699d78] to look at the canisters and something I had overlooked caught my eye. The AquaClear Quick filter. Looks to have good mechanical filtering propertys. So I bought it and a AquaClear 20 powerhead (used to be called the 201) to run it with. Together it cost no more than a Fluval internal and takes up a bit less space.
So far it is working great. Water is cyristal clear. The extra current stirred things up at first but filtered it quickly. Time will tell as the tank is not fully stocked yet.
