New Shrimp

sorry it's dark and a bit blurry, shrimps went straight to hide in dark spots!

I'll hit 'em with the flash after I clean my glass and they de-stress a bit.

Of course, [acronym:aaf425a26d="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:aaf425a26d] didn't know what kind of shrimp it is... 100 kudos to the 1st correct [acronym:aaf425a26d="Identify"]ID[/acronym:aaf425a26d]

From the features, it looks like a Glass Shrimp to me. I have never seen one with lines as defined as yours. I did find this link that might confirm it though.

I did find something called the Indian Glass Shrimp that looked sort of similar - I'm wondering if mine will change color once they de-stress

i hope it's not a plain ol glass shrimp - I paid $5.99 each for 'em

Urk. I think it is a glass (aka ghost) shrimp. You might wanna call the store and have a little talk with em. I found a pic here which resembles your new lil guys: http://centralpets.com/pages/critter.../FWI4997.shtml

How can the fish store put a price on something they don't know what it is? I don't like your store.

Just to be sure justDIY, you might want to talk to Frank, from www.franksaquarium.com . He's THE shrimp guru, and has a chat Sunday nights (from 9-10? 8-9? check the webpage to be sure). I have a feeling he can likely verify whether its a glass shrimp or not, and probably be able to [acronym:910b5afd77="Identify"]ID[/acronym:910b5afd77] if its not.
