New Xenia

got some new coral for my 20g,
XENIA!!! i love it

oh wow, that's the frag I got weeks ago! It was on a plug and something kept breaking chunks off it. I found one piece that fell into the sand and threw it in a rock hole. The plug pretty much died off The piece in that rock flourished though, just noticed it this morning. What can anyone tell me about this coral? It looks just like the one that ixisnowixi posted above.

its called xenia, its real pretty, doesnt require much but should be placed high because it can grow crazy and it grows up so place it high or it will over take anything on its way to the top

Just a heads up, Xenia is know to die for no apparent reason sometimes. Nice frag! Is it a pulsing one?

they look like little hands opening and closing every couple of seconds so is that pulsing?

I have an awsome stand of pulsating xenia, if anyone is close enough to swap for them.. (west centrial Indiana)

Just keep in mind. Xenia, if happy, is like a weed. But only go up. Or sideways. It will quickly take over. So place it at the top so it does not cover things you want to keep. Nice xenia. They have good movement. Very good "mover".

They move sideways withthe flow too so they will grow down, up, left and right.
