Newly Set Up Betta Tank {pics}

This is Mum's newly set up betta tank. It is 4 gallon glass and it cost US$7. It is not furnished as much however. What do you think of t he little glass bowl? It used to be decorative for a fake flower, but now it is the betta's cave. He has ventured in it twice. I think the glass rond bowl is a much better alternative to clay pot!

later will be getting more silk plants and a lid

BTW: should this have a heater? what kind of filter is good for this tank?

It looks very nice, and yes it should have a small 25w heater and a small filter like an aquaclear mini.

You also need some kind of cover in case the betta decides to jump.

there is a temp cover until we get the glass one. we put it on whenever mum is not at her desk. IT is a dinner tray
