Odessa Barbs

The first time I ever saw them, they were in a display tank and not for sale. I asked what they were and the guy at the LFS told me, but then said they didn't sell them anymore. PetSmart had some and I picked up 5. The males in particualr are beautiful fish IMO. You can see 4 of my 5 in this picture. I believe I ended up with 3 maels and two females. This is one of those species that is often overlooked becasue they may not color up in a dealer's tanks.

I love them. I have several in my 125 gal barb tank. My LFS has a picture on the tank to show buyers what they look like when they color up.

13 tanks for a total of 755 gallons.

Those guys look awesome!
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, but thankfully they both led to fish stores.
