Paradise fish

2 of my paradise fish keep sort of circling each other.
Does anyone know what it means?




They keep doing this. At the top right corner of my tank. Just going round and round

Are they being aggressive at all? Is it a male and female? It's hard to tell from the pics.

There both dark brown coloured. And not really theyve got mouth to mouth once. I will try and get a better pic

Do the poctures help?

It looks like it might be an aggression thing but I'm not totally sure. I don't know of any exact way to sex paradisefish other than by size and finnage, and those don't have very long fins.

Ok. Can i do anything about it?
Do you think they will kill each other?

They might if they are actually fighting. I've kept a few males together without any problem except when one got a mate and started spawning.

I'd just keep watching for aggression, if you see one bullying the other (pinning in the corner, etc) or getting beat up at all then you will have to move one out.

Welcome. Does anyone know when paradise fish get there colours?

Mine began to color up at around 4-6 weeks or so. Yours look older than that, so they could just be dull from the stress of being moved or where they were kept before. Try feeding a high quality pellet diet and frequent water changes.

Theyve got alittle bit of colour. But not very much. And thank you i will do that coz my tank does look abit dull
